Dr. Shahid Ahamad, completed his B.Sc (Ag.) from N.D.U.A.T. Kumarganj,Faizabad in 1994; M.Sc (Ag.) Plant Pathology from C.S. Azad Unversity of Agri. and Technology, Kanpur, U.P. in 1996 and Ph.D. (Botany) from C.S.J. M. Univ. Kanpur, U.P. in 2003. He worked as a Research Associate with Prof. A.K.Sarbhoy for three years (1997-2000) in the Division of Plant Pathology, I.A.R.I., Pusa, New Delhi. He was appointed as Jr. Scientist (Plant Pathology) in 2001 in the SKUAST-Jammu at Regional Agril.
