Dr. K. Ramasamy is the Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Member of Planning Commission for Tamil Nadu State Government. He has completed his basic (1970) and masters’ degrees (1974-Agricultural Microbiology) in Agriculture from Annamalai University. Later he studied M.S. in Fermentation Technology (1977) and Ph.D. in Industrial Microbiology (1980) at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
