Dr. Shyam Saran Vaish received his M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. degrees in Mycology and Plant Pathology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in 1990 and 1998, respectively. Following Ph.D., he served as Part-Time Lecturer-Plant Pathology at the Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi and in the Tilak Dhari P G College, Jaunpur in 1995 and during 1997-1998, respectively.
