Author Profile

Dr. Pallem Chowdappa received M.Sc. in 1980 from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, Ph.D in 1985 from Mangalore University, Mangalore, Karnataka. He became Director, ICAR-Central Plantation Crops Research Institute, Kasaragod in September, 2014. Dr. Chowdappa is specialized in molecular plant pathology. He attended international training program on 'Oomycetes bioinformatics' at Virginia Tech, USA in 2014. Dr. Chowdappa was awarded DFID fellowship for Post-Doctoral research at CABI Bioscie
