He joined Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in 2003 and worked for 5 years at ICAR-Vivekananda Institute of Hill Agriculture, Almora. In 2008, he joined ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad as Senior Scientist and is presently working as Principal Scientist (Agronomy).
